Now Is Not The Time To Stop Marketing

We’re in one of those economic periods when many companies necessarily tighten their belts and cut “unnecessary” spending…with marketing and marketing departments often being deemed as one of those unnecessary activities/costs.

We’re in one of those economic periods when many companies necessarily tighten their belts and cut “unnecessary” spending…with marketing and marketing departments often being deemed as one of those unnecessary activities/costs.

As a business of whatever size, I’m not sure I understand the logic in that. Aren’t customers and clients the lifeblood of any business? And isn’t marketing the main way to attract them?

As a small business, now is one of those times when marketing becomes even more crucial and critical to the success of your business and it doesn’t have to be expensive (it can even be free).

Have you stepped up your marketing efforts or have you cut back? Why?
