Yes, today I’m celebrating and thanking “you” – my readers (who I include on my daily list of things to be grateful for anyway).
Over the weekend and this morning, as a result of some of the things I’ve been writing on my blog recently and the fact that you’ve all been reading them, I have had the following “offers”…
1) Several offers and suggestions of new projects to joint venture and work on together. Some of them I’ll be taking up, some I’m still considering and some just aren’t for me – but the fact that you have taken the time to contact me about them and would like to work with me, is very flattering and touching.
2) A couple of offers to do “service swaps” for various different services I offer. Definitely considering these – love how creative some of you are!
3) An offer to help me promote my new book when I launch the final edition later this week. Whilst I really appreciate the offer, I don’t want to pay someone to promote it for me when I’m hoping to do a good job of it myself…but you never know when I might need a bit of extra help and it has, of course, now planted that seed in my mind!
So…if you ever doubted the “success” of blogging and wondered whether it really was worth it and whether anyone really is listening/reading – well, I think I just got my answer right there. Thank you.
