Get Your Daily Dose of Motivation!
I might joke and poke fun at my little brother – Mr. Daniel of Al Majara, don’t you know – and call him Daniel Frump of Frump Towers (on account of his sometimes shockingly frumpy taste in clothes) but one thing that I took away from living with him for the past month in Dubai was his Mr. Motivator play list on his iPod.
It’s a collection of about 5-6 songs that he plays to himself when he wants to get himself hyped up and in a kick ass frame of mind for a big business meeting. It’s a great idea and although I have something a little similar myself (a feelgood play list), I’m going to make myself a Mrs. Motivator play list.
Having gone through my iPod tunes however, I seem to be seriously lacking in motivating songs so will have to search some out. Any ideas?
As for Daniel, his play list goes like this…
- I Am The One and Only by Chesney Hawkes
- We Can Do It from The Producers musical
- Dressed For Success by Roxette
- The Winner Takes It All by Abba
- Nessun Dorma sung by Pavarotti

I’m not sure if you’re into this type of music but Prodigy’s Breathe is one of my favorites.
Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen always works for me!
Hey Alfa – I’m not sure I’m a Prodigy-kind-of-gal but I’ll listen to an excerpt on iTunes and see!!
Keris – yeah that sounds like a good one…
I totally agree with Don’t Stop Me Now.
I also love Eye of the Tiger by Survivor and a new one I’ve recently come across is a song by Vampire Weekend called Mansard Roof – if you’re not on your feet by the end of that then I don’t know what will motivate you!
