Hey Lea,

We actually had friends near Glasgow and had always thought it would be cool to live in another country-- So Scotland it ended up being! My husband is getting a master's degree at a uni in Glasgow. We figured the UK was a good place since they at least speak the same language here, not too much of a culture shock. Also, it's close enough to the rest of Europe to be able to travel easily!

My husband and I just moved to the UK from the US a few months back. It took over a month to get our internet up and running. I feel your pain dealing with all the "getting set up" expenses. We are still dealing with some of them!
