I Heart Firefox
Following on from my productivity post yesterday, I have literally super-charged my productivity today…(perfect Friday afternoon task!!!)
I mentioned using plug-ins in Firefox. Well, I have since discovered a whole range of fabulous, fabulous plug-ins which will make a HUGE difference to my efficiency when surfing round the next & using my beloved Firefox.
It’s apparently been said recently, that Firefox could well be the ‘Internet Explorer’ of the future and I’m not surprised. It is astounding some of the things I can now do (hmmm, I am sounding rather like a total tech geek here - perhaps I should have posted this on the tech blog).
These are some of the things I’ve installed today:
Foxclocks - let’s me see what time it is in my browser bar wherever in the world I choose.

Gmail notifier (works with Gmail & Google Aps and you can see new messages across multiple accounts)

Faviconize Tab (lets you ‘minimise’ the tabs so you can have hundreds open at once)
![]()
And the final one is an in-browser FTP manager which lets me upload files to my & client websites from within the Firefox browser.
This great list, helped me find these & more…If you spend a fair bit of time browing or using the internet, then Firefox is fast becoming ‘the’ browser to use.
